“I love myself!”

Affirmations have the power to transform your inner self and also your outlook on life.

What is an affirmation.

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes.

The first time I heard about affirmations was when listening to a podcast with Kamal Ravikant. It was here I heard him utter the words, “I love myself”.

For Kamal, it seemed to be a journey of discovery he had went through, in life, and the past events and traumas led him to finding solace through affirmations.

I don’t think he intended to share his journey, publicly, but decided he had to as it had such a profound effect on him that others need to know about what he discovered.

This led Naval to write the book ‘Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It

I’ve since spoken to people about Kamal’s book and work. There is a lot of praise for what he has written and the journey of discovery.

One person told me, “the book saved my life!”.

On the back of this, I felt I had nothing to lose in reading the book and seeing if it had any impact.
