January reading
What I read during the month of January 2021.
Last year, when I was completing my Year in Review I set myself the challenge of reading 30 books in 2021. I had never been an avid and regular reader until last March, when the country was locked down, and we had no where to go.
Since then, I’ve made time to read as many books, on a wide range of topics, both fiction and non-fiction. I’m always increasing my wish list and asking people for recommendation (please add a comment below with any recommendations). The power of reading cannot be emphasised enough. For me, it’s opened a lot of doors and really been an awakening, where I’ve been able to grow.
Each month, I will highlight what I’ve been reading and my thoughts/recommendation of each book.
In January, I managed to read 6 books with a mix of fiction and non-fiction included. Two (David Goggins and Phil Jackson books) were Christmas presents.
